Step 1: Turn off your laptop and unplug power cord.
Step 2: Flip the laptop so that the bottom is facing upwards and the rear panel is facing towards you.
Step 3: Take out the battery from the laptop.
Step 4: Remove the screws that hold the cover to the hard drive. The cover’s notch allows you to lift the hard drive out of your laptop.
Step 5: Remove all screws on the rear panel.
Step 6: Flip the laptop upside and lift the top.
Step 7: Now remove the keyboard. To release the keyboard cable, press down on the button just in front. The keyboard should be removed from the laptop.
Step 8: Remove the wireless antenna receivers located between the laptop screen & laptop base.
Step 9: Unplug your DVI cable.
Step 10: Remove the screws that hold the cover to your laptop’s base. Take off the laptop cover.
